FAQ

What is Domiciliary care?
Domiciliary care is all about providing the right support to help people stay happy, safe, and independent in their own homes. Whether it is a few visits a week or round-the-clock care, home carers (also known as domiciliary or private carers) step in to make everyday life a little easier. From help with personal care and medication to support with cooking, cleaning, and staying on top of things it's about giving that extra bit of help where it’s needed most. This kind of care is perfect for anyone who could use a reliable, friendly hand with daily tasks while continuing to enjoy the comfort and freedom of home life.

Getting started with home care is simple, and we are here to guide you every step of the
way. Just give us a call, and a friendly member of our team will take the time to talk
through your needs. From there, we will arrange a free, no-obligation home assessment
at a time that suits you.
We encourage you to involve any family members or loved ones during this
conversation—they’re welcome to ask questions and be part of the planning process.
Once we have understood your preferences and requirements, we will create a
personalised care plan tailored just for you. Together, we will agree on the right support
and set a convenient start date. It is care made simple; with you and your family at the
heart of every decision.

A care plan is written by the manager during the assessment of each client, detailing the
medication, medical conditions and the specific care requirements of the client, so full
instruction on the care is ready to be provided to the client.

Yes. When a client confirms that they would like to go ahead with care, a member of our
assessment team visits the client to perform a risk assessment. The information from
that assessment will then be detailed in the care plan.
